Launched in November 2010 under the leadership of Gregory Makoul, PhD, CIPCI’s commitment is to transform primary care in ways that are palpable and sustainable: Transformation that works. More specifically, CIPCI serves as a resource for the region and state, convenes primary care stakeholders and leaders, and showcases innovative practice models.
A key component of the Bioscience Connecticut Initiative, CIPCI moved into a state-of-the art space on the Saint Francis campus in November 2012.
It is important to note that CIPCI does not deliver healthcare services. Rather, it serves as a resource for primary care leadership, education, research, and practice.
