Transformation that works

Adam Silverman, MD, FACP

Outreach Leader

Adam Silverman is the Leader for Outreach. Adam is Vice President for Ambulatory Strategy and Development for Trinity Health – New England and is the Medical Director of the Primary Care Service Line at Saint Francis Hospital. As a “bridge spanner”, Adam excels at making connections across the care continuum and between organizations to solve problems.

A “jack-of-all trades”, Adam views himself as a true general internist privately bemoaning the business model that has disconnected inpatient and outpatient medicine, and publicly recognizing the reality of the future of his specialty. As a multi-hat wearing physician leader, he enjoys a wide ranging set of responsibilities that includes clinical practice, teaching and administration. Adam believes that robust primary care is the solution to the value equation, and that Primary Care physicians are the logical leaders for health care reform.
